Compared to most slow life manga I've read, I felt like this particular series was more emotional and meaningful thanks to the protagonist's backstory.Amamiya Hiroto is unlucky. I also thoroughly enjoy reading about the protagonist as we're able to see his thought process and general morality. What I like about it is that the series as a whole has a general direction and thought is put into the setting. It reverses the Hero/Demon King dynamic but all the usual tropes are there. If we're talking more typical isekai, it'd probably be aka Death Mage although I'm mostly referring to the webnovel since the manga is updated incredibly slowly. On top of that I also feel the emotional turmoil of each situation is well realized and believable. If the MC was in an RPG, his charisma stat would be the highest. What makes the series especially good is the writing as much of the series focuses on the MC strategizing and negotiating out of situations instead of purely through brute force.
The MC has to figure out a better outcome in order to succeed. To give a general synopsis, the MC inhabits different people from other worlds at the most extreme points of their lives. It's a bit of an unorthodox suggestion since it's clearly very different from all the other isekai as the protagonist still lives on Earth. I've only recently read it but the best isekai to me would be.
